NAID-Europe is an association of secure information destruction companies that are serious about high standards and ethics. Any information destruction company, or any company that offers secure information destruction as one of a number of services, is welcome to join and support our effort to promote the industry.
NAID-Europe's purpose is to teach all organisations of the importance of properly destroying discarded data and also to teach them of the importance of choosing a qualified company to provide that service.

By joining NAID-Europe and displaying the association's logo, you tell everyone that your firm is to be counted among the professionals. NAID-Europe membership means that the company is not afraid to have customers make informed decisions. NAID-Europe members encourage customers to ask the important questions that make sure they are being adequately protected.
THE NAID-EUROPE WEBSITE
NAID-Europe's website is the customer's portal to the secure destruction industry. Over the months and years, as the site grows in resources and in popularity, customers, policy-makers and the news media will use the website to learn what our industry is about.
THE NAID-EUROPE ONLINE MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
Customers will also use the NAID-Europe website to find a trusted service provider. Currently the NAID website in North America receives on average about 8,000 visits per month. NAID-Europe will use the same techniques to promote its website and expects the same success.
CONFERENCES, TRADE EXPOSITIONS & NETWORKING
NAID-Europe holds the only major conferences and expositions for the information destruction industry in the EU. These events are valued by attendees as both an unparalleled educational opportunity, but also as the best method for developing a network of colleagues which lead to additional business as well as being of great use for sharing ideas.

NAID CERTIFICATION
As a part of the international group of NAID members, NAID-Europe provides a voluntary certification programme to members which they can use to reassure their clients that they meet a set of standards established to promote security.
The NAID Certification has been recognized by government agencies and customers in the United States, Canada and the European Union.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
One of the most critical purposes of any industry trade association is to represent its members' interests in matters of public policy, laws and regulations. Both in Europe and in North America, NAID-Europe and its sister organisations have had impressive success in developing strong relationships with lawmakers and regulators.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
On a regular basis, there are events and situations upon which the secure destruction industry should comment in order to advance its message and its fortunes. NAID-Europe acts as the unified voice of the industry for just this reason. There is no other organisation better suited to respond on such occasions.
ETHICS ENFORCEMENT
One of NAID-Europe's most important services to its members is the ability to hold all industry participants to high ethical standards and truthfulness. NAID-Europe will sanction any company, member or not, that is found to be misleading the public or otherwise engaging in unethical behavior in violation of the Code of Ethics.
To ensure that justice is served, NAID-Europe maintains a Complaint Resolution Council that operates under a set of Complaint Resolution Guidelines that afford "due process" to all parties involved in any complaint.
